Hi,
So this post is very concise. First, the opening hours, Second, how to get there as it is NOT indicated when driving.
1) Opening hours of the Royal Mail Delivery Office (Coventry South), located in Airport Retail Park,Off London Road, Toll Bar End, Coventry (CV3 4RR):
2) To get there, once in the roundabout (A45,A46,London Rd) Toll Bar End,take the exit to WILLENHALL, and in the next roundabout, take the second exit, even though there isn´t any sign to the Delivery Office. You´ll pass a fake-roundabout and at the end turn right and...there it is!
(In Google Maps shows in a green field, but now the Delivery Office is there.
Thanks for this post, I couldn't find the new Royal Mail office anywhere on Google Maps and it isn't even listed on transportdirect.info or the Traveline Midlands website. It's completely ridiculous that they expect us to be able to find their office for when we need to collect something we weren't able to sign for (or which was too big to fit through the letterbox) when there is next to no available information on how to get there! Thanks to this post I will be able to head off tomorrow to collect my guitar pedal which the postman attempted to deliver this morning!
ReplyDeleteIt´s alright mate. I was very pissed off the first time I tried to find out the opening hours, and also the odyssey of getting there, as there are no signs in the nearest road nor in the round about.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your guitar pedal!
Juan.
Very helpful. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreat information, thank you...now if they would just answer their phone!!! Argh! Thanks again for posting

ReplyDeleteYou are welcome mate!
DeleteHi,
ReplyDeletethank you for this post, I am a foreign student and I don't know how to get there! I have to collect a book so in your opinion do I have to phone them and ask if there are other ways to have my item?
Dude, I am not a "Royal Mail" expert, but of course you can contact them to ask for help. They can resend the parcel to your local Post Office or to your address.
ReplyDeleteGood luck.
Very helpful, thank you.
ReplyDeletedoes it work on sunday?
ReplyDeleteWhat, this blog? yes, 24h....but if you mean the Post Office, dude, just READ the top of the entry and you will find the answer.
DeleteGreat, i think alot of people are very great full to you for taking the time to post these details. including me.
ReplyDeleteshame the post office dont realise their problem. never mind. cheers anyhow.
You are very welcome! If they don't realise of it, it is certainly a pity, but at least we manage to share the info between ourselves ;)
DeleteCant believe royal ask the customers to use full postcodes for delivery of an item but the one most important thing is directions to their newly built office and they cant even do that..
ReplyDeleteAgree with you mate, this is why I had to create this blog ;)
DeletePhone customer service on 08457 740 740 who will then inform the office DOM....delivery office manager who should then take it up with the SOM...sector operational manager ie area manager who should then deal with the planning team in royal mail or do it himself and the Coventry council for planning to erect the necessary signs...hope that helps
ReplyDeleteHad a postal order sent to old address by recorded delivery, nobody is there to sign for it. What can I do?
ReplyDeleteThey only take cash if you have to pay customs and handling charge for your parcel. No card payment facilities. And you've guessed it, no cash machine in the area.
ReplyDeleteTried for over an hour to find a way to contact this depot to find out about 3 items of mail gone awol and eventually found this web page ... thanks! Only problem now is that the phone lines aren't working!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is good place to learn and explore your knowledge.
